Story of Jo

As soon as Jo realised that Zakumi Makunga (her African ex who decided that being the World Cup mascot is more worthy than being together with her) wasn't there for her anymore, she ran back to her comfort zone; moving in the speed of light (maybe not so fast;perhaps cheetah speed), avoiding anything that is obstructing her.

She had finally reached, with her Nike sneakers still looking good. Frankly, Nike sneakers cannot cope with the speed of cheetah. Jo's sneakers are actually Bata. Plain white Bata. And everyone knows Bata tahan lasak. But the only way for her to be a status symbol is to draw the fat Nike tick on the Bata sneakers and colour it with her favorite colour; orange.

Anyway, back to Jo; This time she felt familiar again, but odd. It didn't feel the same as before. But familiar alright. She saw the boundary line that separates her comfort zone from the sinful nature beyond. That line is completely blurred; breached by the trust she once gave to the man she loved.

Three years later;
She then fed the pink and purple chalks to her Siberian Husky called Shisha. Why that name? She loves shisha. And Shisha too loves shisha-ing. Sometimes Jo brings Shisha out to Al-Safa Mamak to smoke shisha. Shisha's favorite flavour is grape mint.
Now would that make a great tongue twister.

Since her return to her comfort zone, Jo has been working on patching the boundary line. She used pink chalks. But she rubbed them off. They looked too vulnerable. And offensively girly. Then, she switched to using purple. But purple is a naughty colour.

After some time, Jo decided to ignore patching that line for a while and went to the kitchen to make Cham. Cham is the combination of Coffee and Ham. At least that is what she thought when she saw 'Cham' printed on Oldtown Kopitiam's menu. But never was she brave enough to try it. So she assumed it was a combination of both coffee and ham.

She was done with her cup of Cham. It was awful..ly good.

However, something told her she shouldn't blend the ham together with the coffee beans.
